I am an artist looking at possibilities of perception and reflection
- of the individual in relation to the soci(et)al as well as the connections among these such as constructions of history, rules of behavior and consumption. Also ideas of conscious development- both for the single person and the collective- interest me.
My paintings with toothpaste have their origin in my fascination with bodies, surfaces, forms of self-presentation and the democracies of aging.
The longer I paint my interest shifts to the characteristics of the material itself- its potential in expression, concrete movement, abstraction, color and smell. It´s a diverse and sensual painting-process working with the power of gravity and time.
